B-Listed Former Glasgow School To Be Converted Into New Affordable Housing

Plans to transform a former Glasgow school into 42 flats have been approved by Glasgow City Council.

Earlier this year, Thenue Housing Association lodged plans to convert the B-listed former Tureen Street School, which has been derelict for 18 years, into a series of one, two and three-bedroom affordable homes.

Designed by John Gilbert Architects and set to be delivered by CCG (Scotland), works will involve partial demolition and façade retention, with the Millroad Drive and Millroad Street primary facades retained alongside the Janitor’s House.

Construction is set to begin in 2026.
