CCG Developments Shortlisted for Inside Housing Development Awards 2026

CCG (Scotland) is delighted to announce that two of its regeneration-led housing developments have been shortlisted at the Inside Housing Development Awards 2026, with both projects recognised in the Best Regeneration Project – Up to £21m category.

The shortlisted developments, Bellsmyre Regeneration, Dumbarton, and Shawbridge Arcade, Glasgow, highlight CCG’s continued commitment to delivering transformational affordable housing projects that create lasting benefits for residents and communities.

Bellsmyre Regeneration, Dumbarton

Developed in partnership with Caledonia Housing Association and designed by ECD Architects, Bellsmyre Regeneration is a 27-home development that has helped drive the ongoing transformation of one of West Dunbartonshire’s most challenged post-war housing estates.

The tenant-led project has delivered high-quality, energy-efficient homes while supporting the wider regeneration ambitions for the Bellsmyre community. Earlier this year, the development received national recognition through a Scottish Home Award and has also been shortlisted in both the Affordable Housing and Residential Regeneration categories at the Herald Property Awards.

Shawbridge Arcade, Glasgow

Delivered for Lowther, part of Wheatley Group, and designed by Coltart Earley Architecture, Shawbridge Arcade has transformed a former commercial business estate in Pollokshaws into a vibrant new neighbourhood comprising 75 affordable homes.

Located within one of Glasgow’s eight designated Transformational Regeneration Areas, the development has played a significant role in bringing new life to a prominent brownfield site while supporting the continued regeneration of the city’s south side.

The project’s award success continues to grow, having recently been named Affordable Housing Development of the Year at the Herald Property Awards 2026. Shawbridge has also been shortlisted in both the Affordable Housing and Residential Regeneration categories at the same awards, further recognising its positive impact on the local community.

The dual shortlist reflects the strength of collaborative partnerships between housing providers, design teams and construction specialists in delivering developments that go beyond housing provision to create meaningful social and economic benefits.

Both Bellsmyre Regeneration and Shawbridge Arcade demonstrate how high-quality affordable housing can act as a catalyst for wider community renewal, transforming underutilised sites and helping to create thriving, sustainable places for people to live.

CCG extends their congratulations to the project partners involved and looks forward to the winners being announced at the Inside Housing Development Awards later this year.
