The Scottish Home Awards have entered their 18th year in 2025, and the ceremony is one of the largest independent gatherings for the housing industry in the country.
In 2024, CCG (Scotland) was announced as the winner of Excellence in Sustainability for the delivery of Dundashill Plot 3, Scotland’s largest Passivhaus residential development, and in 2025, the Group has secured 15 nominations across 7 categories, including:
No fewer than nine projects will be vying for a top prize. Among those are Western Villages and Granton Station View, two developments comprising 519 affordable ‘net zero ready’ homes in Granton delivered in partnership with The City of Edinburgh Council, which have each been nominated in 3 categories, including Innovation in Design for each development’s approach to zero-emissions heating technologies.
Both developments have been constructed within a distance of 1 mile of each other in the north Edinburgh district, and are also within close proximity of the double-nominated Chestnut Street, a 306-home development for Harbour Homes.
Clydebank East is West Dunbartonshire Council’s first-ever ‘net zero ready’ development, and it joins the 48-home Brandon Street for North Lanarkshire Council in the Social Housing Development of the Year (Under 100 Units) category to receive their first award nominations of this year.
Bearsden Road in Anniesland is also the recipient of its first award nomination. The 46-home development for Partick Housing Association is one of two CCG land-led developments to reach the finals, with Langlands Road, a project delivered in partnership with Trust Housing Association, receiving two nominations.
Water Row for Govan Housing Group continues its awards streak after being announced as a Homes for Scotland Award finalist earlier this year, while CCG Homes has returned to the awards circuit with their stunning show home at The Scholars. (PLAY SHOW HOME VIDEO TOUR).
CCG also extends its congratulations to our client, igloo Regeneration, for Maltings Wynd. The second of two phases delivered at the Dundashill Regeneration Masterplan, the development comprises 78 homes for sale and has been nominated in the Housing Regeneration of the Year, and Housing Development of the Year (Large Private Sale) categories. Energy and sustainability consultant Carbon Futures has also been nominated for Excellence in Sustainability for their work on the project.
