The wins cement CCG’s position as one of Scotland’s leading construction and manufacturing contractors, underlining its ability to deliver innovative, high-performing housing across all tenures while maintaining a steadfast commitment to quality, social value, and environmental responsibility.
CCG was named winner of the Excellence in Sustainability award for the second year running, a recognition of its progressive work in low carbon construction and offsite manufacturing.
Their ‘iQ’ Timber System is one of the most advanced of its kind in the UK, and their Net Zero Home build standard continues to set new benchmarks for sustainable housing delivery in Scotland.
With over 1200 low carbon or net zero homes currently onsite, and pioneering Whole-Life Carbon research to its name, CCG remains at the forefront of the sector’s transition to a greener future.
The company was also recognised alongside partners Govan Housing Group and Collective Architecture for Housing Regeneration Project of the Year, awarded to the Water Row development in Govan.
Following its recent win at the Homes for Scotland Awards, Water Row continues to be acknowledged as a transformative regeneration success story. Completed in 2024, the 92-unit, mid-market rental development integrates community-focused commercial space and was one of Glasgow’s first residential developments to adopt an all-electric energy strategy.
Designed and delivered with place-making at its core, the project reconnects Govan and Partick via the newly opened footbridge and revitalises one of Glasgow’s most significant town centre locations.
Further recognition came with Social Housing Development of the Year (Small <100 units), awarded to Langlands Road – another key development in Govan that was delivered entirely by CCG, from land acquisition to design and build, in partnership with MAST Architects on behalf of Trust Housing Association.
Completing the night’s success was Housing Development of the Year (Large Private Sale), which was granted to CCG’s client, igloo Regeneration, and Stallan Brand and Ann Nisbet Studio, for Maltings Wynd in Dundashill.
The 78-home project forms part of the Dundashill regeneration masterplan, exemplifies design-led urban housing, and has significantly contributed to the wider transformation of the former industrial area into a thriving, modern neighbourhood.
David Wylie, Managing Director of CCG, commented: “These awards are a huge honour for our business and our partners. Each project represents a different aspect of our capabilities—from land-led delivery and sustainable construction to large-scale regeneration and design excellence. Our strength lies in our integrated approach and our people, and these wins are a testament to their efforts, and what can be achieved through collaboration, innovation and a shared commitment to creating lasting value for communities across Scotland.”
