Pennywell Phase 3/Block 3 completes the final stage of a comprehensive masterplan and regeneration project for the Pennywell & Muirhouse area, which has spanned over a decade, and will comprise 90 highly energy efficient homes and 2 commercial premises.
CCG (Scotland) is set to deliver the development on behalf of the City of Edinburgh Council, continuing a strong partnership with the local authority
Proposals were created and submitted by Stallan-Brand, who describe the development as taking cognisance of the emerging identity established in the earlier phases of the Pennywell and Muirhouse Masterplan. The proposals aim to build on this by creating a welcoming and secure environment that fosters passive surveillance, a sense of personal ownership, and opportunities for social interaction, while serving as the culmination of previous efforts to maintain a focus on inclusivity, safety, and connectivity.
